Solid Trust Courier is a freight-forwarding and courier service operating in Jamaica. For the purposes of Jamaica's Data Protection Act, 2020 (DPA), we are the data controller of the personal data you provide when you use our website, mobile app, or services. You can reach our data protection contact at global.jsuprememarketing@gmail.com.
Account details (name, email, phone, address); shipment data (sender and recipient details, package descriptions, declared value, tracking events, branch and delivery records); commercial invoices and customs declarations you upload; and device/usage data such as IP address, browser type, and error logs used to keep the service secure and working.
We never store full card numbers. Payments are handled by trusted providers (LuniPay, Lynk, and card / bank-transfer processors). We retain only a payment reference, amount, currency, and status so we can issue receipts, reconcile accounts, and handle refunds or disputes.
To provide the shipping and clearance service you request (contract); to meet customs, tax, and business-registration obligations (legal obligation); to prevent fraud, secure the platform, and resolve disputes (legitimate interest); and, where you opt in, to send service updates (consent, which you may withdraw at any time).
Only the minimum necessary, with: the driver or branch handling your shipment; Jamaica Customs and licensed brokers for clearance; service providers who help us operate (hosting, database, payment, email and SMS) under data-processing agreements; and law enforcement only when compelled by a valid Jamaican court order. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising profiling.
Some service providers store data outside Jamaica (for example, the United States or the European Union). Where that happens, we rely on contractual safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and require those providers to meet DPA-level protection.
Active account data for as long as you hold an account; shipment, invoice, and payment records for 7 years (the Jamaican tax and dispute window); server and error logs for up to 90 days; and marketing data until you withdraw consent.
You may ask us to access, correct, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to withdraw any consent you have given. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner of Jamaica. To exercise any right, email global.jsuprememarketing@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
We protect data with HTTPS in transit, encryption at rest, role-based access controls, row-level security, server-only keys, and audit logging of every status change. No online service is 100% secure — contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Solid Trust Courier is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe we have, contact us so we can remove it.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the date below and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for activity under your account, and for keeping your login details secure. You confirm that goods you ship are lawful, accurately described, and permitted, and you agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt unauthorised access to it.
The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any quote, estimated delivery time, or tracking status will be accurate or achieved.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solid Trust Courier and its owners, officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the relevant shipment in the three (3) months before the claim or ten thousand Jamaican dollars (J$10,000). Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Solid Trust Courier and its representatives from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, the items you ship, the information you submit, or your breach of this policy or applicable law.
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, and may refuse, suspend, or terminate any account or shipment at our discretion and without liability, including where we reasonably suspect fraud, prohibited items, non-payment, or a breach of this policy. We may use aggregated and de-identified information to operate, secure, analyse, and improve our services.
This policy, and any dispute arising out of or relating to it or the service, are governed by the laws of Jamaica, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jamaica.
